Product Datasheets
| CD8
CD8 (cluster of differentiation 8) is a transmembrane glycoprotein that serves as a co-receptor for the T-cell receptor (TCR). Along with the TCR, the CD8 co-receptor plays a role in T cell signaling and aiding with cytotoxic T cell-antigen interactions.Like the TCR, CD8 binds to a major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecule, but is specific for the MHC class I protein. However, while the TCR interacts with the antigen-binding region of MHC-I, the CD8 molecule binds to the α3 domain, a non-variant region of MHC-I located away from the antigen-binding site.
| Repeatability
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay):CV% < 10%; Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays):CV% < 10%| Recovery
The recovery of Mouse CD8 spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.| Sample Type | Range(%) | Average Recovery(%) |

| Cell Lysates(n=8) | 92-105 | 102 |
| Linearity
Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Mouse CD8 and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.| Tissue Homogenates(n=4) | Cell Lysates(n=4) | ||
